Greater lansing aikido (gla)

Greater Lansing Aikido (GLA) was established in 2017 and is a member of the Aikikai affiliated international Aikido organization: Aikido World Alliance (AWA), and is committed to spreading the art of Aikido in a safe and fun environment through a joint partnership with the City of Lansing Parks & Recreation Department.

Aikido World Alliance (AWA) is an international group of Aikido Dojo that make an Aikido "family."  AWA is governed by a Board, and maintains a Technical Committee of Instructors.  At the head of the AWA organization is the Founder and Chief Instructor: Andrew M. Sato, Nanadan Shihan (7th Degree Black Belt, Master Teacher).  

COVID-19

Greater Lansing Aikido (GLA) is open in compliance with City of Lansing and State of Michigan COVID guidelines. COVID Vaccination is required for all Instructors and students. Stay healthy & safe!
